Fall Wedding Center Pieces

There are many different ways that you can decorate the tables with center pieces for your fall wedding. First of all you should decide on the colors for your special day the choice will become easier as you both begin to narrow down the options. Fall wedding colors are most identifiable as being vivid, vibrant and warm within the traditional wedding color palettes. In keeping with the seasonal theme popular fall wedding colors include warming burgundies, claret reds, coppers, olive greens, and dark pinks.

Fall Wedding Center Pieces – Leaves and Lanterns

It may seem like a fairly obvious idea but you can very easily use leaves to create a really fabulous fall wedding themed center piece. Of course falling and changing colors of leaves are most associated with this time of year, and so this is why the use of leaves will help you and your intended create a really themed feel on your special day. There is quite a range of colors that you can use that are found in nature – use this to inspire you! You could choose to go for a very rustic feel or even just use the idea of the shape of the leaf to help get you started. There is nothing to say that you couldn’t spray paint leaves in silver or gold, or create a display including lanterns and beautiful white candle light.

Fall Wedding Center Pieces – Pumpkin Paradise

You may instantly think that the pumpkin can only be used in a spooky, Halloween, type of a way, but think again! The pumpkin is a very beautiful color and does not necessarily just have to be carved into to in order to create a lantern effect – although this in itself is a lovely idea if it is done well. Why not consider thinking a bit more creatively and use pumpkins as flower ‘vases’ for your fall themed wedding center piece. Alternatively, you could also use pumpkins as holders for floating candles and/ or flower heads in the center of your guests' tables.

Fall Wedding Center Pieces – Wicker and Wood

Wicker baskets can be used to great effect at your fall themed wedding. You could use them as holders for beautiful dried flower arrangements on your tables, or even incorporate elements such as maple leaves, acorns and conkers into the mix. Depending on the nature of your chosen venue, wicker baskets can either be free standing, or suspended from the ceiling like hanging baskets. Wood in its natural state is also a great way of creating a really fabulous display… whether driftwood from the beach or dried out boughs from the forest, natural wood can be used as the base for your fall themed wedding. Depending upon the colors that you have chosen you could add flowers, leaves or candles to the display to create a simple and dramatic effect. Top tip – if you are going to use wood as a holder for candles be sure to treat it with a flame proofed layer of chemical or varnish!
